This recipe makes @ 6 cups of smoothie, a total of about 530 calories of protein-rich, alkaline-rich nutrition; @ 50 gr. of protein, 25 grams of fiber.

2-1/2 to 3 cups liquid (water, herbal tea – avoid caloric liquids) 0 calories

2 tbsp. Flax seed powder          60 calories                8 gm. protein   5 gm. fiber

1 serv. Whey powder            120 calories   25 gms. protein (use more if you desire)

1 serv. Super Foods Supreme (a GNC antioxidant formula)   30 calories  2 gms. protein  5 gms. fiber

1 piece fresh ginger (or not, according to your taste)   5 calories

2 hands full of fresh spinach 30 calories       6 gms. protein        4 gms. fiber

(@ 5 oz. or other greens according to your taste – collards, kale, broccoli, etc.)*

½ an average size zucchini    30 calories      1 gm. protein         3 gms. fiber

½ average size carrot             60 calories       1 gm. protein         3 gms. fiber

1 pear                                      100 calories    1 gm. protein         4 gms. fiber

1 banana                                  100 calories    1 gm. protein         3 gms. fiber

*(Additionally, I don’t have one of those expensive, powerful blenders so I don’t put everything into the blender at once – [a Hamilton-Beach liquid blu @ $40- $70] — to not overload the 800 watts max. motor, which I have used virtually every day for nearly seven years with no problem. Also, it is recommended that you mix the greens you use from time to time. Also, if you have a lactose tolerance problem, you may want to use whey isolates which has all but about 1% of lactose eliminated from this dairy-derived product.

Blend the first six ingredients; add the others (I cut each into 3 or 4 pieces and drop them through hole in the lid — protecting that motor).

Consume and be healthy.
